Established in 1967 in Amite, Louisiana, Central Progressive Bank was founded to serve the banking needs of the emerging Northshore communities.  CPB proudly serves four parishes in Louisiana – St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Livingston, and Washington.

    *Balance cash drawer
    *Daily transactions of deposits, withdrawals and transfers
    *Must be able to back up Customer Service

Qualifications:

    Teller:
    *High School diploma or equivalent
    *ONE YEAR CASH HANDLING EXPERIENCE
    *Ability to locate and correct out of balance situations
    *Basic PC knowledge required
    *Good written and verbal communications skills
    *Stable employment history
    *Ability to complete online the application and assessment
    *Responsible credit record

    Floater Teller:
    *One year bank teller experience required
    *Reliable transportation

Job Description:

    *The Mortgage Originator position requires soliciting business from realtors, builders, bank customers, and professional groups such as the Chamber of Commerce, Home Builders Association, etc.
    *Originates Mortgage Loans
    *Package Loans for FHA, VA & Conventional
    *Gather background data and submit to Underwriter/Investor *Review all documentation
    *Run Desk Top Underwriter software program
    *Run Mortgageware software program corresponding with title companies and closing attorney

Qualifications:

    *High School diploma or equivalent
    *Computer literate – Mortgageware Program, Desktop-Underwriter, Microsoft products, e.g. Excel, Word
    *Good written and verbal communications skills
    * Three years experience in field as a processor or originator
